GENERAL NEWS:

The online Reflection Window Link is now working and the new deadline for reflection windows will now be extended until Friday (3/22) before midnight. (L. Weiss, 3/22)

Junior Prom Tickets are on sale thru Friday for $40 w/ASB and $50 w/o ASB.  Prices go up $10 per ticket next week. To purchase a ticket you will need the signed contract which are available in the ASB room. Questions??  see Mr. Platt.

LIBRARY NEWS:
Hate to pay outrageous prom dress price$?  How about FREE?  Bring your school ID card & a friend to shop for FREE prom dresses at any of these local Sac Public Library PROM GIVE-AWAYS. Arrive early for best selection! :)

CAREER CENTER NEWS:

Military in the Quad:  Tuesdays (Marines), Wednesdays (Navy), Thursdays (Army)

CLUB/ACADEMY/ACADEMIC NEWS/EVENTS:
Key Club is holding their annual Awake-a-Thon on March 1st to March 2nd. Doors open at 6:30 P.M. and the event starts at 7 P.M. Sign up at bit.ly/AAT2019 (Please emphasize the capitalization of the letters in the link), and the registration fee is $30 at the door. Invite friends from other schools and earn community service hours!(V. Thai, 3/1)

Interested in joining Yearbook? Guess what? The application deadline has been extended! Pick up an application in Student Services or see yearbook advisor Ms. Sousa for more details. Applications now due by Friday, March 1st. (A. Sousa, 3/1)

GENERAL & FUTURE NEWS:

Eat at Pizza Bell, 8996 Grantline Road on Mondays during the month of February and support PG Golf!!!

Are you interested in becoming a firefighter?  Captain Robert Anthony from the Sacramento Fire Department is coming to PG to talk to interested students about the ins and outs of becoming a firefighter...Presentation is schedule for Friday, February 22nd from 8:30-9:30. If you would like to receive a pass to attend this presentation please sign up in the Career Center asap. (J. Want to learn what careers and degrees are available for you at CRC?
  Come listen to a special presentation by Traci Scott from CRC on Monday, March 25th @ 9:00 a.m.  She will be giving us a glimpse of the various pathways you can take through degrees or certification at CRC.  Come find out about areas you may be interested in and how to apply for college and financial aid as well as how to take courses in high school.  All grades are welcome.  See attached flyer for info on degrees and certificates.  Please come and sign up in Student Services (at the counter) if you are interested :)

ATTENTION IDEA STUDENTS:
Check out the Laser Room, don’t miss out on the on-going Penny Challenge, support your grade level to win pizza during advocacy for the whole grade! Pennies are positive points, silver coins and dollar bills are negative points. Freshmen and Seniors are currently in the lead, Sophomores and Juniors, you can do it!!
